SONANCY.STUDIO is an innovative arts and production company based in Houston, Texas that specializes in creating photos and music with a lurid, captivating edge. The brand currently has two areas of focus. The first is creating images combining occult, gothic, macabre themes with the allure and sensuality of boudoir photography. The second is producing high-quality original music composed of dominating, dark and avantgarde sounds that translate into a powerful, instrumental, sonic experience.
SONANCY.STUDIO was founded by creative duo Brian Yegge (musician, photographer, digital content creator) and MegAnne Stryker (model, concept and set designer, writer) in July during the great lockdown of 2020. The pair discovered that their ideas and creative passions overlapped in a unique way while working on solo projects in a shared space, resulting in the company’s genesis. SONANCY.STUDIO is the brain child conceived from those two joined forces.
The brand officially launched in February of 2021 with the debut photo collection HeXXmaS along with the instrumental art rock E.P “Arete” by Angershade (2019).
SONANCY.STUDIO is currently working on several projects. Each one is in a different stage of production and will be set for release as completed. The company is open to collaboration with other creative individuals desiring to darken their arts with the SONANCY.STUDIO aesthetic.
“Bad Day” & “The DISASTERP1ECE” were billed out unofficially as yeggestryker productions as they were attempts at revitalizing the efforts inspired by the creation of Sonancy.
